Bulletproof Glass “Cockpits” for SEPTA Buses

These enclosures, designed to safeguard drivers from potential assaults and gunfire, are built from layered glass, polycarbonate, and other advanced materials.
Each cockpit is precision fabricated in EMD’s Bucks County facility, ensuring durability, visibility, and seamless integration into SEPTA’s existing bus fleet. The protective barrier provides drivers with peace of mind while maintaining passenger accessibility and operational efficiency.
